Arabian Ranches Golf Course:

The Arabian Ranches Golf Course is one of Dubai’s hidden treasures. It’s a beautiful course with 18 holes and a challenging layout, but it’s also the only place in the city where you can tee off on camelback! The camels are trained to carry golfers from tee to fairway and back again, giving players an entirely new perspective on their game.

Al Ghurair Centre:

Al Ghurair Centre is a shopping mall in Dubai that offers many experiences beyond the usual retail fare. The mall has a number of attractions, including an ice rink and bowling alley, as well as several restaurants and cafes to enjoy while you’re there.  Al Ghurair Centre is located near Sheikh Zayed Road in Bur Dubai.

 Underwater Zoo, Fujairah:

This is a hidden treasure for anyone who loves animals and wants to learn more about them. It’s located in the Emirate of Fujairah, which is near Dubai.

The Underwater Zoo features marine life from all over the world, including sharks, turtles and many different types of fish–all displayed in beautiful aquariums with amazing lighting effects that make it feel like you’re underwater yourself!

• Gold Souk – One of the most popular places in town where locals shop for gold jewelry (and tourists get their souvenirs). You’ll find plenty of options here whether it’s traditional designs or something more modernized.

The Falcon Hospital in Dubai:

The Falcon Hospital in Dubai is a small but impressive facility that provides emergency care to sick and injured birds of prey. The hospital also serves as an educational center for visitors who want to learn about the plight of endangered birds, as well as how they can help.

Visitors can watch from behind glass windows as veterinarians and staff provide treatment for injured vultures, eagles and falcons. You’ll see them feeding their patients, weighing them and administering medication–and if you’re lucky enough (or patient enough), you might even get close enough to pet one!

Al Bastakiya:

Al Bastakiya is a lost world of artisans and craftsmen that has been preserved for over 200 years. It’s one of Dubai’s most charming neighborhoods, with winding lanes and grandiose houses built in the old Arab style. Located near Dubai Creek, it’s also home to some of the city’s oldest mosques and temples (like Al Ahmadiya School).

Baniyas Square:

Baniyas Square (or “Baniyas” for short) is a mall, but you won’t find any of the usual international brands here. Instead, this indoor shopping center houses a collection of independent shops and boutiques selling everything from traditional Emirati clothing to handmade accessories made by local artisans. The mall also hosts special events throughout the year–and even though it’s located in Dubai’s Financial District rather than downtown, it’s not too far from either location!

Al-Bahrain Fort:

Located in the Al-Bahrain neighborhood, this fort was built during the 18th century by Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum. It was later renovated by his grandson, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. The main structure is made from coral stone and marble imported from Italy; it houses several rooms that were used as a residence for members of the royal family.

The fort also has an impressive garden with palm trees, as well as a small museum that displays artifacts relating to life in Dubai during its early days (including some items belonging to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan).

Mina A’Salam:

Mina A’Salam is a lesser-known part of Dubai that’s full of charm, history and culture. Located in the northernmost tip of Deira, it gives you access to some amazing views of the city and sea.

The historic neighborhood also has plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops where you can grab some delicious treats before heading back home.

Deira Fish Market:

If you’ve ever been to the Dubai Fish Market, then you know that it’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dubai. However, if you haven’t been there yet or want something more off-the-beaten path, then we recommend visiting Deira Fish Market.

Deira is about a 20-minute drive from the Dubai Mall and has much less traffic than its counterpart in Bur Dubai (the area where most tourists stay). It’s also closer to some of our favorite hidden gems like Al Fahidi Fort and Bastakiya Park as well as being much more peaceful than other parts of town.

Grand Ebrahimi Mosque:

The Grand Ebrahimi Mosque is one of Dubai’s most beautiful mosques, but it’s also one of the least-visited. Located in Al Rashidiya, this mosque was built in 1966 and designed by Iranian architect Hossein Amanat. The intricate mosaic tiles on its exterior make this building stand out from any other mosque in Dubai–and they’re even more incredible when you see them up close! Be sure not to miss this hidden treasure when exploring Dubai!

Get Lost in Al Serkal Avenue at Night!

Walk down Al Serkal Avenue at night and you’ll be in for a treat. The street is lined with pop-up shops, bars and restaurants that are open until late into the evening. You can even go bowling here!
